Habitat Tithes

As a Christian-based organization, this Habitat affiliate practices the Biblical principle of tithing by giving 10% of our income each quarter to another Habitat affiliate with greater need in another country. Currently, our tithe monies go to Guatemala's Habitat para la Humanidad (Habitat for Humanity). Guatemala has completed over 25,000 houses for qualifying families there, at a current cost of approximately $3,000 per house. These houses typically have four rooms, and are constructed of cement block with a metal roof, and have a traditional wood fire stove.
